On 03.03.22 it’s that time again: the 16 furniture supplier companies of the Furniture Future Forum invite customers from the furniture industry to talks to present new trends, products and materials. Among others, Dr. Nina Ritter from the Fraunhofer WKI, as well as Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Martin Stosch from the Smart Wood Center OWL will give exciting presentations.
Regarding “Future-proof materials”, the discussion rounds will start this year in March “Kurzer Prozess”. In addition, the well-known partners from the supplier industry have again prepared new products in the exhibition and a whole series of exciting presentations in 2 different timeslots. In the morning Markus David, Specification Manager of Sonae Arauco will start with a short presentation on 3DF. Directly afterwards, Sofia Mayerhofer and Klaus Müller from schattdecor will present the new product variety of thermoplastic surfaces. After a break, which gives time for discoveries in the exhibition, as well as discussions with the partners, Dr. Nina Ritter, group leader materials of the Fraunhofer WKI online connected about the innovations wood foam and Superwood.
At 13.00 the Forum welcomes the 2nd round of visitors to a new program. Here, Dieter Fassbender of Pyrus Panels will start at 1:30 p.m. on the topic of resource-saving furniture. Directly following is the managing director of europlac, Marina Röhr, who will give sustainable impulses through precious wood solutions in the system. Furthermore, after the tour we are looking forward to the lecture of Prof. Dipl-Ing. Martin Stosch from the Smart Wood Center OWL. It focuses on wood as a forward-looking raw material and material against the current background of climate protection and the circular economy.
Invitations will be made personally by email, and unfortunately each person will only be allowed to attend one timeslot (either morning or afternoon). In this way, the forum keeps the number of visitors small. The past event has shown that this not infrequently increases the intensity of the conversations. Our hygiene concept is 2G+ according to the current corona protection regulation. Boosted individuals still require a medical mask, but no longer require a current day test.
