The material and furniture supplier network of the FURNITURE FUTURE FORUM invites your customers from industry, trade and planning again and has brought along many new product ideas for furniture and furnishings as well as an exciting program once again.
Digitalization is driving the industry and the digitalization of material not only facilitates product development. The so-called “digital twin” of a material or a component enables, among other things, virtual pre-tests. This is what the company Brain of Materials specializes in. During the presentation by CEO Dr. Hans Peter Schlegelmilch, visitors will learn about possibilities that are already common in other industries, such as the automotive industry.

After a break to discover the exhibition and the products of the network partners, Prof. Timo Rieke will present color trends in his contribution: RAL COLOUR FEELING 2025+. The designer and professor of color and surface design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK), is also the owner of the Visual Haptics Lab and has long been involved with materials, color, surfaces and their effects and international trends.
His latest post is Chairman of the Board of the German Color Center, which again underlines his competence and expertise. We are pleased that he is giving a presentation in Bünde and also that he has sat on the COLORNETWORK committee for the new color.
Because afterwards Katrin de Louw from TRENDFILTER and the initiator of the COLORNETWORK will present this eagerly awaited Sustained Color No.8! The COLORNETWORK unites different companies in a color network and creates a timeless color every year. The furniture and kitchen mile in September 2023 proves that the COLORNETWORK now sets clear, international trends from the OWL region and creates differentiation potential in the trade.
Interesting product novelties, excellent networking and delicious food also determine the 2nd break of the program. The initiators have agreed on a top-class but purely vegetarian food buffet and want to convince and positively surprise even hardened meat eaters – for health and more climate protection.
At 2:00 p.m., we will move even further into futurology with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI). For this purpose, the network has invited a real professional from Hamburg: Mr. Sebastian Raßmann from TRENDONE. Mr. Raßmann is a trend researcher and Head of Center of Excellence Inspiration. Artificial intelligence is one of his main topics. What is in store for us with these new technologies? Where are the connecting factors today and in the future? Where does artificial intelligence offer opportunities for our industry, from product development to manufacturing to marketing? We will experience this in a journey into the year 2023, which will certainly provide visitors with exciting insights on 09.11.23 in Bünde.
The event time frame of 10.00-15.00 is also new. The later start favors the arrival and departure on a day or also the morning check at the workplace before you go to the event. The fact is, there is an excellent industry program in just half a day. The events have been legendary since 2007 and yet it still seems to be a real insider’s tip, as visitors to the last event anonymously rated it a first class 9.4 out of 10!
