Interzum relies on TRENDFILTER again. The Cologne World's Leading Trade Fair for Furniture Production and Interior Design commissioned Katrin de Louw and her team to design and realize the PIAZZA Surfaces & Wood Design in 2019.

The PIAZZA will have much more exhibition space in 2019 and, thanks to the workshop character promoted by TRENDFILTER, will once again become a crowd puller.

The special show is considered an absolute crowd puller and meeting place for the industry. It offers visitors and exhibitors of the trade fair a comprehensive look at material and surface trends as well as a generous catering area. The focus is on the trend concepts Sustainability, Customized, Haptic, Lightweight, Digital Printing, Anti-Fingerprint and Wood & Stones to show product solutions for the interior design and furniture design of tomorrow.

“With a new stand design, we want to emphasize the workshop character of this area in 2019 and thus the possible diversity that can be generated from the substrate and the surface, using, for example, steel mesh mats to casually highlight the respective products. Visitors will also be able to experience haptics and hand patterns at large tables “, explains TRENDFILTER boss Katrin de Louw, who will be responsible for the project for the fifth time after 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 with her team.

“This time we are not only presenting wood and materials at PIAZZA Surfaces & Wood Design, but also inviting neighboring product groups, such as furniture handles and upholstery and decorative fabrics, to apply to join us,” adds de Louw.

Koelnmesse as the organizer wants to give the exhibitors at Interzum the opportunity to create a connection between their Piazza presence and their own exhibition stand and the corresponding product highlights.

The special show will once again take place in Hall 6.1, but with the relocation of the lecture area in Hall 4.2 compared to 2017, it will have significantly more exhibition space.

For the piazza construction, TRENDFILTER is still looking for material sponsors among the exhibitors, e.g. for the floor area. The entire service also includes the labeling of the products and is free for the participants. These only bear their own material and transport costs and, if necessary, the insurance costs for their exhibits.

The deadline for submitting the application form is 30 November 2018.
