The FURNITURE FUTURE FORUM network is once again inviting furniture manufacturers to the “MÖBELVISIONEN” event in Bünde on 11.11.2021. In addition to the keynote speech by host Katrin de Louw on the subject of “Furniture for the Soul”, the renowned futurologist Christiane Varga (Zukunftsinstitut) will be joining the event online as a guest speaker to talk about “Living in Transition”. If you don’t receive a voucher code by email, you can quickly sign up for the invitation mailing list at www.trendfilter.net
Since 2007, the network of well-known furniture suppliers has been inviting customers from the furniture industry in autumn to present new product ideas and give a trend outlook for the coming furnishing year. With Corona, the event changes to a small, exclusive get-together in several timeslots. Thus the visitor has the choice between 2 identical programs either in the morning or in the afternoon.
Futurologist Christiane Varga: “Living in transition”.
In her work, the Germanist and sociologist Christiane Varga focuses on new structures: those that are produced by a differentiated society and those that are still necessary in order to do justice to this society today and in the future. Previously she was editor-in-chief of the Graz-based culture magazine Living Culture and a journalist in the field of living and interior design.
In order to draw a multi-faceted panorama of the landscape of cultural change, she first flies to lofty heights in her lectures, only to finally always land at the bottom of the practice, where she collects the crisp trends and catchy “bits and pieces” and links them together to form an inspiring overall picture. The result of her explanations are stimulating future perspectives paired with profound knowledge from trend research.
Mrs. Varga will be live from Vienna several times during the MÖBELVISIONEN and will also be available for questions after her presentation.

As the initiator of the company network and event forum, Katrin de Louw (Trendfilter) will be presenting the new “FURNITURE FUTURE FORUM” concept and demonstrating the new offer for the furniture industry at the Bünde location with new event formats and regular workshops. This will be followed by a short impulse lecture by the trend expert on the subject of “Furniture for the soul”. In this, Mrs. de Louw reflects the new needs of society and shows various possibilities of using furnishings to positively influence the psychological effect on people and thus their well-being.
New network partner: furnipart
At the same time, 18 strong network partners have prepared product ideas and trends and are looking forward to discussing them with the selected audience and, above all, presenting them live. The new network partner in the Furniture Future Forum is the Danish handle manufacturer furnipart, which brings inspiring design impulses for furniture handles to the Forum and shows the latest trends here.

The safety concept in the FFF
Since safety is the highest priority, the forum’s entry code is 3G (Vaccinated, Recovered, Tested [rapid or PCR test, not older than 24 or 48 hours]). In addition, the usual AHA rules of distance, hygiene and respirators apply. If distance is maintained, e.g. during lectures on the seats, the masks can be removed. OP b.z.w. FFP2 masks are mandatory. Good ventilation and constant disinfection of the surfaces are also provided.
Who is invited free of charge?
Unfortunately, the pandemic forces us temporarily to reduce the number of people and thus the network focuses on their customers, as well as manufacturers of furniture, kitchens or construction elements. These receive an invitation incl. Voucher code by email, provided they have signed up to the invitation mailing list. If not, you can catch up quickly here.
We look forward to seeing you!
