It makes us dream of golden yellow fruits, ancient Italian villas and endless sandy beaches. Gentle and flattering, the ancient, natural ochre shade can have a psychologically proven positive effect in interiors.
Sustained Color No. 9 promotes a happy, cheerful and energetic mood and, according to psychologists, can stimulate creativity in work and exercise spaces. Like a concentrate containing centuries of sunlight, ‘taste south!’ has a calming, relaxing and stress-reducing effect. To match the color, COLORNETWORK offer a room fragrance that transports us to a Mediterranean garden with its 100% natural aromas. With citrus fruits and herbs such as rosemary and sage, the fragrance enhances the effect of the colour. For your personal power spot.
Who doesn’t dream of sitting in a country house garden in the land ‘where the lemons bloom’, surrounded by palm trees and southern vegetation, smelling the Mediterranean flora and tasting regional specialities? ‘taste south!’ takes us on an olfactory journey to the ochre-gold-yellow, sun-kissed fruits of the Mediterranean, such as apricots, dates, mirabelle plums, quinces and citrus fruits. Their flavours are complex and individual. Golden yellow Bahri dates, for example, are among the oldest fruits in the world and ripen in the southern and eastern Mediterranean.

Their fruity sweet yet complex gourmand aroma with subtle hints of buttery caramel, honey and vanilla can be wonderfully associated with ‘taste south!’. In the non-food sector, the psychological effect of ‘taste south!’ as a room fragrance based on sweet fruit aromas can be combined with ancient Mediterranean scents such as sea salt, cypress, lavender, rosemary and cedarwood. This creates a sun-drenched, multi-sensory experience that brings people peace and moments of bliss: like a Mediterranean summer evening surrounded by flowers, fruits, herbs and lush vegetation.

The colors of COLORNETWORK are developed each year by a rotating group of designers and interior architects. This year, we would like to thank Antonio Rodriguez (Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez Design Milano) and our trend scout Katrin de Louw-TRENDFILTER.
